The men’s 1st division team traveled to Lahti to play a match on a difficult sand based Astro turf but they conquered the conditions to convincingly win the encounter with an ending score of 6-0. Several scoring opportunities were missed which could have easily seen the score line extend far beyond the final score indicated.
‘The goal scorers were Jason Ivors with 3 goals in the bag, Noel Cavernelis with 2 goals and Visa Nurmi scored one goal. The men’s team is moving from strength to strength and will hopefully have a successful upcoming tournament against a very young and fit Urjala Megasticks.
