The Helsinki Warriors ladies, new to the SM indoor hockey scene put up a brave and spirited fight in their matches against Porvoo and ABC on Sunday 9 December 2018. The team was not at full strength but still managed to play spirited and gutsy indoor hockey. The future looks bright for the ladies team if they maintain their upward mobility. The team was pitted against the two strongest teams in the women’s SM league.

Even though the ladies put up a magnificent fight, they lost their match against the strongest team, Porvoo by 2 goals to 1. The match against ABC was a close affair with the final score settled at 5-4 against the Warrior ladies.
