On a day filled with plenty of field hockey, it was the golden oldies’s opportunity to turn up the heat and show what they were made of and that they can still show many a youngster that age is just a number. Today’s matches saw three teams competing Vantaa HC, Helsinki Warriors and BMT. In the spirit of good hockey BMT with a lack of players were assisted by the Helsinki Warriors as well as Vantaa HC, a gesture that can only build further relations between the existing clubs. We would like to thank all the players who made a contribution to our matches today. Even though it did not all go our way, we learnt plenty about where we should develop for future matches.
